Frankincense Grades

After harvesting (olibanum) is sorted into different grades based on color, size, purity, and intended use. At Natural Olibanum Trade, we offer the following main grades:

 Grade 1 – Premium Select

  • Large, uniform, pale white to golden-yellow tears.

  • Highest purity, minimal dust or impurities.

  • Ideal for luxury perfumes, high-end incense, and medicinal applications.

  • Harvesting: Collected early in the tapping season when the trees produce their freshest and most potent resin.

Grade 2 – High Quality

  • Slightly smaller tears, light yellow to amber in color.

  • Excellent aroma and quality.

  • Commonly used for premium incense blends and therapeutic purposes.

  • Harvesting: Usually collected later in the tapping season or from secondary resin flows.

  1. Grade 3 – Standard

    • Small or broken granules, mixed color tones.

    • Moderate aroma strength.

Grade 4 Dark,
